SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to text-message programs offered by SMITHCO GROUP LLC d/b/a Advanced Business Computing (“ABC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By affirmatively opting in, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Program description

SMITHCO GROUP LLC d/b/a Advanced Business Computing (“ABC”) sends text messages from (317) 779-2664 to customers who have given us their mobile number and agreed to receive texts, either in our store at 3019 25th Street, Columbus, IN, or through our online sign-up form. Messages may include repair and order status updates, pickup notices, appointment reminders, estimates, customer-care follow-ups, and occasional offers, discounts and sales. We send texts only to people who have given consent.

Consent to receive automated marketing texts

By opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring text messages (service updates, customer-care follow-ups, and occasional offers, discounts and sales) from SMITHCO GROUP LLC d/b/a Advanced Business Computing, sent from (317) 779-2664, to the mobile number you provide, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

You must be at least 18 years old to opt in to our text messages.

You confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you provide and that you are authorized to consent to messages at that number. If your number changes or is reassigned, you agree to opt out or notify us promptly.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies, up to 8 to 10 texts a month. Message and data rates may apply. Check your wireless plan for details. ABC does not charge a separate fee for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

How to opt out

You may revoke your consent and stop marketing texts at any time by replying STOP. You may also use END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. After your request, we may send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. No further marketing texts will be sent unless you opt in again. To rejoin after opting out, use the original sign-up method or follow the instructions provided when the program is available.

Carrier and delivery disclosures

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and network availability and is not guaranteed. The program may not be available on all carriers, devices, or in all areas.

Privacy and mobile information

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information with service providers that help us operate the messaging program, but only as needed to perform services for us; when required by law; or to protect rights, safety, and security. Age and availability

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to join a marketing text program. The program is intended for mobile numbers in the United States.

Changes and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a text-message program or these terms at any time. Changes will apply after the updated terms are posted with a revised date. Your right to opt out at any time remains unchanged.
