Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
SMITHCO GROUP LLC d/b/a Advanced Business Computing (“ABC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We may collect information you choose to provide when you call, email, submit a website form, request service, purchase a product, or bring a device to us. This may include your name, contact information, service request, device details, communications, and transaction records.
Our website host and service providers may also collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser or device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location derived from your IP address. If analytics, advertising, appointment, chat, or customer-management tools are enabled, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies as described in their own policies.
How we use information
- To respond to questions, schedule or perform services, provide estimates, and communicate about your device or order.
- To process payments, maintain business and warranty records, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and services.
- To send marketing communications when permitted by law. You may opt out of promotional email at any time.
SMS consent, opt-in data, and your choices
We send marketing text messages only after you provide clear, affirmative consent through the opt-in method presented to you. By opting in, you agree that SMITHCO GROUP LLC d/b/a Advanced Business Computing may send recurring text messages (service updates, customer-care follow-ups, and occasional offers) to the mobile number you provide (messages are sent from (317) 779-2664), including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message frequency varies, up to 8 to 10 texts a month. Message and data rates may apply.
You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also use END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. After an opt-out request, we may send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed; no further marketing texts will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, call 812-799-1995, or email deesmith@eazyasabc.com. Opting out of marketing texts does not prevent non-marketing communications that are necessary to complete an active transaction or service request when otherwise permitted by law.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information only to service providers that help us operate our messaging program, when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security. Those providers may use the information only to perform services for us.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for complete program terms.
How we share information
We may share information with vendors that help us provide hosting, communications, payments, analytics, customer management, shipping, or repair services; with professional advisers; when required by law; to protect rights, safety, or property; or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money.
Device data and credentials
Repair work may require temporary access to a device, account, password, or files. We use that access only as reasonably needed to diagnose, repair, test, or return the device, unless you authorize another use. Remove or secure sensitive files and sign out of accounts that are not needed for service whenever practical.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for service, business, warranty, tax, legal, and security purposes. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, subject to legal and operational exceptions. You may also disable cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies may affect some site features.
Children and outside links
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. Our website may link to third-party sites whose privacy practices we do not control.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
