Terms of Service

These terms govern use of this website and services provided by SMITHCO GROUP LLC d/b/a Advanced Business Computing. A written estimate, work order, sales receipt, or service agreement may include additional terms. If there is a conflict, the signed or accepted service document controls for that transaction.

Estimates and authorization

Website information and preliminary estimates are not a final diagnosis or binding quote. You authorize only the work described in the estimate or work order you approve. If additional work or a material price change is needed, we will seek your approval before proceeding, except for testing or diagnostic steps already authorized.

You must be at least 18 years old to opt in to our text messages.

Your responsibilities

• You confirm that you own the device or are authorized by its owner to request service.
• You are responsible for providing accurate information, disclosing known damage or hazards, and supplying lawful access needed for the authorized work.
• You are responsible for software licenses, account access, and the legality of data and software on the device.

Data recovery and device condition

Data recovery is not guaranteed. Devices may have hidden, pre-existing, intermittent, or progressive failures that become apparent during testing or repair. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for a device component failing through its ordinary condition while reasonable authorized service is performed.

Parts, payment, and pickup

Parts may be new, refurbished, or equivalent when disclosed in the estimate or work order. Payment is due as stated on the applicable invoice or receipt. Replaced parts may be retained or recycled unless return is requested in advance and permitted by the supplier. Devices not picked up after notice may be subject to storage charges or disposition only as allowed by Indiana law and the terms on the service ticket.

Warranties

Any service or parts warranty will be stated in writing on the estimate, work order, or receipt. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer. Except for written warranties and rights that cannot be excluded by law, services and website content are provided without additional warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ABC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, loss of use, or lost data. ABC’s total liability arising from a service will not exceed the amount paid for the affected service. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Website use and third-party services

You may use this website for lawful purposes. Product names, manufacturers, games, software, and outside links belong to their respective owners. Third-party products and services are governed by their own terms and warranties.

Text and email communications

When you expressly opt in to an ABC marketing text program, you authorize SMITHCO GROUP LLC d/b/a Advanced Business Computing to send recurring text messages (service updates, customer-care follow-ups, and occasional offers) to the mobile number you provide (messages are sent from (317) 779-2664). Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to withdraw consent and stop marketing texts. We may send one final opt-out confirmation. Reply HELP for help. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on your wireless carrier and network availability. Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Governing law and changes

Indiana law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms by posting a new date above. Continued website use after an update means the revised website terms apply to later use.
